Hi There
Thank you for your informative site. I stumbled across you in my own frustration by less than ethical people. Most annoying and where do these losers come from - can't they get a real job!
I have a situation where my business email address (as above) and all my product names on my website, have been created into email addresses on the various free email sites by the same people.
I have tried to look into the legality of this and can't find anything. The people involved appear to be based in the US and I am Australian.
Any ideas.
Many THanks

this is cool...only one question! How can I tweek it to display the featured products which are marked as "Featured"- the little star in the products admin area. I think it should display them as default as those are the actual featured products...

Thanks

Hi, if you're still struggling with this, you can look in the featuredproduct_widget.php file, within the widget($args, $instance) function. If you add the line
echo wpsc_add_to_cart_button($product['id']);
you should get the right button.
I'll make this an option for the next release, but in the meantime you should be able to use this workaround.

You've done a great job, the meet-ups are fantastic and well structured.

Only been to one so far but hopefully catch some more in the future!

A testament to the event organisers and those who attend.

Lovely article, and thanks for sharing.

Hi Sarah - It's not currently possible to call the widget within a template. The only way to have the widget show up somewhere other than your sidebar would be to add another widgetised area to your theme and then add the widget there.
