Facebook tabs have now been changed to 520px wide, so resize your image to that width and corresponding height and you’ll be fine.

This is great. I was looking to find out how to do this and your instructions are 100% dead on. 1 question I have is I want to design a page outside of facebook and save it as a jpg and just ref the image with an html img pointer but cannot figure out the correct sizt to have it fit on the page correctly. In other words I want a welcome tab and instead of codeing the page have a img pointer to an external jpg. But need to know what size to make the jpg. Hope this makes sense

the default landing tab doesnt exist anymore ..what should i do

Hi Larry – Well done on setting up your page!

Unfortunately, Facebook automatically directs people who like your page to the wall tab, and there isn’t a way to change this

Hey, thanks for the great tutorial. ive set up a custom page for my business – its startign to look good now! Ive set my customer tab to be the default welcome page, but if you “like” my page you are directed straight to the wall. Is there a way to change this?

HTML links are contained within a tags (‘a’ enclosed with <>)… have a look for those

great easy to understand guidance until I got to the bit about inserting HTML – all i want to do is create a tab on a business page so it acts like as a link to a certain page on our website. It’s so easy in mail or even on my website, I guess I am missing a trick! I can see the HTML on our website but don’t know which bits I need – guess for idiots like me the advice is get a techi in?! cheers
